Floating Tales is a musical-storytelling performance by singer-songwriters Ana Škreblin and Maja Gostič, in which they narrate stories written by the journey through life, connecting original music, spoken narratives, and complementary sound images.

The project includes a selection of original songs that range genre-wise in the field of intimate acoustic musical poetry, inspired by personal reflections on the worlds we live in. Connected by narration and incorporating other musical/atmospheric instruments, the journey carries a strong personal note, addressing the audience with sincerity and simplicity. Through mutual interaction, the melodies of two vocals and guitars intertwine, creating a special atmosphere of multifaceted harmonies and emotions, also incorporating other musical and atmospheric instruments. The narrative is in Croatian language, while songs are a mix of Slovenian, Croatan, English, Italian and Spanish.

On the journey of Floating Tales, human relationships and interactions are transformed into an auditory, and narrative experience. Through the intertwining of music and narrative, the performance provides insight into the (human) nature, feelings of closeness, distance, conflicts, and harmony. The audience is invited to delve into these interactions and at the same time confront their own emotions and perceptions of Life. Thus, the artistic performance becomes an open space for exploration, reflection, and deepening into the essence of human connections and the connection between humans and nature. The authors have therefore subtitled it as “a ritual dedicated to life and the stories we write.”

Witches, Bitches and Goddesses (WBG) je glasbeni projekt glasov in elektronike, ki ga ustvarjata Jelena Soro (SR/SI) in Jennifer McMahon (IRL). Skozi raziskovanje koncepta ženskih arhetipov v slovanski in keltski mitologiji umetnici postavljata performans, ki je kulminacija umetniške rezidence ponujene s strani JSKD. Glasbenici sta začeli svoje sodelovanje že leta 2016, med magistrskim študijem na Berklee College of Music v Španiji in sta to nit od takrat razvijali skozi vzajemno sodelovanje na različnih projektih.

Witches, Bitches and Goddesses je refleksija osebnega in umetniškega razvoja glasbenic kot žensk skozi objektiv njihove individualne kulturne dediščine.

‘Rojpot je ropot, roj, pot – pot roja,

Rojpot je skupina glasbenikov, ki pletejo tone in šume. Včasih sami, velikokrat skupaj, najraje pijani in zadeti od glasbe. 

Rojpot je album, ki se giblje med world, funk, electronic in ambiental vsebino.

Initiation – prvi album skupine The Balkan Experience of Song and Ritual – je eksperiment. Prvi aranžmaji so se rodili pod španskim soncem, daleč od Balkana. Tam so pesmi dobile priložnost zadihati svobodno, stran od vseh pričakovanj o tem kako mora zveneti balkanska pesem. Za glasbenice in glasbenika je eksperiment poiskati vse globoko skrite zgodbe in sporočila preprostih ljudskih pesmi in jih brez sojenja oživeti in predati publiki. Za publiko je ekperiment slišati divje žensko petje v enostavnosti spremljave moškega principa in kompleksnosti lastnih globin ter prepletanja, ki so ga trije glasovi sposobni narediti skupaj.
Album je nabor pesmi, ki so same našle pot do Jelene kot aranžerke, in zazvenele v novih barvah. Preoblečene od zunaj navznoter in obratno se, malo katarzično in malo ekstatično, vsaka ukvarja z različnim delom balkanske ženske duše.

The Balkan Experience of Song and Ritual je glasbena skupina, ki z avtorskimi aranžmaji predstavlja ljudsko glasbeno izročilo od Slovenije do Turčije. Skozi tradicionalno postavo (večglasno petje v spremljavi tolkal) glasbeniki iščejo nov, sodobnejši izraz v vsebinskem, harmonskem in izraznem kontekstu vpetosti v današnji prostor in čas.

Z vključitvijo improvizacijskih in pripovednih momentov, ljudsko pesem razširijo v “sedaj” in jo tako še bolj približajo sodobnemu poslušalcu.

Mlekomen is a family music project that creates music together and interrogates it. The main inspiration of the project is the recently born son, who is also the central driver of the project.

“I catch myself knowing too much of nothing at all.”

PiP is poetical project, a musical interpretation of six poems written by three friends, realized by Peter and Petra. It is a peephole into personal stories, intimacy of the look, taste of morning, reaction of a stranger, theater of the street, erotics of the pain. PiP is a multi genre project and has no restrictions in performance, always open for other types of creativity. It is a space where music is an ultimate record of an event and at the same time foundation for what it follows.

The festival sounded through the streets and parks of Ljubljana. In addition to dozens of concerts of various acoustic genres, he has brought workshops and talks on street art, which has recently been supplanted by digital sound carriers.
