HupaPODHOD – independent cultural and artistic hub

Podhod is an independent cultural and artistic hub located in the formerly abandoned Ajdovščina underpass in Ljubljana. Since 2021, it has been functioning as a venue where concerts, performances, (improvised) theatre productions, exhibitions, visual and intermedia installations, festivals, workshops, and other events take place.

In a space once known as a commercial and social meeting point, we now collaborate with a collective of local and international artists to organize around 80 events each year. Together, we are revitalizing the underpass — transforming it into a vibrant space for connection, artistic exploration, and dialogue.
